Shift

Hello there! Let me begin by saying I barely remember anything that has happened since my last post. I'm not sure if that is a good thing. But I'm just gonna go with the flow. Start Leg Stahbucks Prick Funky Wilting Sixteen of Fifty-Two Photobucket

I know the first two photographs in this post aren't really cohesive with my "regular" style of photo's. That's because I'm working on a series called Continuous Discontinuity. I've got to get out of my habits of photography and try new things and editing styles. This is the second series I've done and I'm enjoying it.

I treated myself to some Starbucks after getting the disappointing news that I couldn't donate blood Friday. My iron level was 37 when it has to be 38 to be eligible to donate. I was SO bummed out about that. I love donating blood. It makes me feel like I can at least do something helpful. The only part I hate about donating is having your finger pricked, it always hurts really bad. It's weird, I can handle a needle being shoved up my arm but can't handle a finger prick. . . .

Oh and I had to include a photo of those homemade mashed potatoes. I CAN'T eat those potatoes that come in a box and are all powdery and you "just add water." I just can't. I refuse to. Real, homemade mashed potatoes are so delicious, oh my goodness. & with a bit of roast beef with gravy on the side, yes ma'am!

Okay, I'm done being fat in this post. I had a weird slash okay week and I hope everyone has a week that lives up to their expectations!

  1. Oh I LIKE these pictures, the pastell colours are great! That are exactly the colours I love yet.

And I'm happy that you like the song from my last post, because she is a new singer from good old Germany - from Berlin :)

  3. Wow, I love the almost pastel effect you're getting in these photos...maybe its time for a photo editing tutorial!

And home made mashed potatoes FTW. And mac and cheese. I won't touch the boxed stuff.

    1. Well thank you!! :) I should do a tutorial since I often get asked how to get this effect!
Exactly!!! I despise boxed mac and cheese. Like where is the love that's put into that stuff...it doesn't exist. I love a bowl of homemade mac and cheese.

  5. There's nothing above home made food, but I have to admit cheating. On weekdays I'm just a hot mess to do anything. These photos look amazing, continue exploring and showing us your process.
